General Investigations

“To get the right answer, it helps to ask the right question.”
After more than 30 years experience in criminal investigation, we have proven skills in investigating the most complex crimes. What this means to our clients is that we know how to gather facts and present them in accordance with all legal requirements. It also demonstrates that we have led and conducted investigations that have involved not just our own individual skills, but also involved the coordination of one or more areas of expertise or science. For example, crime scene experts, forensic scientists, psychologists, psychiatrists, medical practitioners, ballistics experts, questioned document experts, fingerprint experts, accountants, linguist experts, computer experts and mechanics and engineers. Any or all of these experts could be involved in a major investigation and we have led investigations that have incorporated the use of these types of people.
You should not waste time and money on investigators that do not know the difference between a statement, record of interview, an interview, an interrogation, a statutory declaration, a dying deposition, or an affidavit. All of these are methods of obtaining oral evidence and it is essential that investigators know which method is appropriate in every case.
From the simplest investigation to locate a missing person through to a corporate fraud, we have the experience and expertise to meet our client’s needs.
