FITNESS FOR PURPOSE
Dyson Corporate Security was established (as the name implies) to specialise in the delivery of security services to the corporate sector where customer service is a dominant function.
From the design of our uniform to the training we give our staff, we have developed what we believe to be a new style of security officer capable of enhancing the reputation of our clients business while providing optimum security.
We are able to compare the way we are delivering our security reception services with interstate and international security service providers and able to say with confidence that we meet international best practice.
WHAT DIFFERENTIATES US FROM OUR COMPETITORS?
• We endeavour to understand our clients’ business objectives to enable us to deliver our services in a way that contributes to their service delivery.
• We pay our guards above award rates. We have found that we attract better security officers, experience a lower turnover of staff, and are able to provide a more stable workforce for our clients.
• We perform personal assessments of all security officers at the end of the first day, first week, and first month, and thereafter bi-annually. We meet with them bi-annually as a minimum to give them feedback on their work and to assess trends in the workplace.
• All our decisions are made locally, therefore we are faster to respond to changing trends, and customers’ requirements

Australian Achiever of the Year Awards
The company is the only Tasmanian security company to win an Australian Achiever of the Year award. We have won four consecutive State Titles for excellence in customer service in the security guard and patrols category. Our score has consistently been in the high 90% range. This year we received a special commendation certificate for consistently maintaining a high level of service for 5 years.
Growth
Since starting to provide security guards and patrols in 2001, the company has become the largest employer of security guards in Tasmania. The company is servicing two of the largest government contracts (hospitals and magistrates courts) and several other corporate clients. This growth has been achieved by demonstrating our commitment to excellence and delivering the service to the highest possible standards.
